Payment Policy

With increasing government pressure to protect consumers, banks and credit card merchant banks have continued to increase fees to us and have also increased the amount of time it takes for the money to go from your bank to our bank ( 4 to 7 days).

In order to keep our CFI Renewal rates as low as possible, we have returned to the old fashioned method of "Check, Cash or Money Order ". We no longer accept credit cards.

To avoid any confusion or misunderstandings, here are our Payment Requirements:

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT IN ADVANCE:
Your check (or money order, no cash please) needs to arrive at our business a minimum of 10 days prior to the Seminar or Webinar. ("The Check's in the mail", doesn't work.) The check or money order must be made payable to:

"AVSeminars, Inc." in the amount of $129 (Webinars) or $169 (Seminars)

Sent to:
AVSeminars
  5 Alberto Dumont Cove
  Georgetown, TX 78626

LATE REGISTRATION:
If you are late in registering, we make no guaranty that space will be available since we need to confirm class size in advance. If space is available, you may pay at the seminar site by cash or money order and you will receive your Graduation Certificate, however, your Temporary Airman's Certificate will be issued within 10 days. (Be aware that your Graduation Certificate acts as your CFI License up to 120 Days until you receive your Temporary Airman's Certificate or your Plastic License. Your 120 Day clock on your Temporary Certificate begins ticking simultaneously with your Graduation Certificate. If the 120 Day Clock expires without receiving your Plastic License from the FAA, your CFI License expires and you will need to retake the flight portion of your CFI priviledges. AVSeminars has NEVER experienced this sort of paperwork error.)
If your check does not clear our bank for any reason, you will be charged $45.

We apologize if these conditions appear onerous, but we work very hard to present the very best, possible, FIRC. In addition to the fact that these are the best possible good practices. And last, but not least, CFIs of character and integrity do the "right thing".
