"Live" CFI Renewal Seminars

All live FIRCs begin at 0800 local time and end at 1700 with an hour break for lunch at Noon.

If you plan to stay the night (or longer), we oftentimes can provide better rates at quality motels near the seminar location. Please check the Locations for any special pricing and directions to the seminar site and hotel.

A few thoughts that you should be aware of:

1. Partcipants need to bring the following items to the seminars:

  - Pilot Certficate
  - Most recent CFI License
  - Driver's License or Passport or Government-Issued Photo ID
  - Passport if a Non-US Citizen
  - Pens, Pencils & Paper
  - Medical Certificate, if Current (otherwise, not required for CFI renewal)
  - Check or Money Order for $169, if not sent via USPS or $189, if not pre-registered online and paid at the Seminar (see Payment Policy)
  - Bottled Water, Snacks and/or Lunch (Coffee will be provided)
  - Seat Cushion (many of our venues lack comfortable seating)

2. Be prepared for 8, 50 minute presentations during each day. The FAA requires a Minimum of 16 hours to complete a FIRC and we strictly ahere to this requirement.

3. T he 10 minute breaks each hour are required by the FAA and need to be respected.

4. There is no need to bring text or reference books to class.

5. Please be prepared to turn your cell phone off during class, if it does not have a viabrate position. Also ask friends and business contacts to not call you during class hours, unless it is an emergency.

6. During class, however, you are free to stand, move about the room, stretch, make bathroom visits to remain as comfortable as possible during the presentations.

7. There will be 15, 5 question quizzes during the two days. Each of the quizzes will be graded to 100%.

8. Graduation Certificates and Temporary Airman's Certificates will be processed at the close of the FIRC in the order that online reservations were made.
